Cannot believe the perforamance It is unbelieveable. This is light, I don’t know what kind of line it comes with, but I accidentaly caught a 36 inch striper and a 16lb channel cat with it. It is smooth as long as you are catching perch. I use my rods and reels for saltwater, and its holding up well with all the salt and sand….

Good enough for me. Absolutely stellar as an every day rod for a beginner angler, or for someone who just doesn’t really care about super high quality fishing gear. The only thing this rod can’t do is cast huge bait. but if you’re fishing for huge fish with huge bait, go get a different rod, you idiot. The real is very smooth, especially for only having one bearing, and the casting is pretty smooth as well. I’ve put this rod through hell, and it hasn’t let me down.
