Power Pro begins with ultra-strong braided Spectra Fiber, which is treated to create an incredibly round, smooth and sensitive line. The Power Pro Hi-Vis Yellow was developed for applications where seeing your line is critical. Many anglers will utilize short flourocarbon leaders with this color line, especially in clear water. Applications for Hi-Vis lines range from bobber fishing the rivers in the Pacific Northwest to fly-lining sardines and anchovies along the California coast; fishing the lakes and rivers of the central regions for bass, walleye and catfish to targeting fluke and stripers in the Northeast. Pelagic fishermen looking for better spread management to inshore anglers targeting snook, redfish and trout. Hi-Vis Yellow can give you an advantage in all applications.

This changes everything This line has a rounder profile than other braided fishing lines, causing less problems from spooling on spinning reels and running through lineguides. Due to its lack of stretch ( 98-99% stretchfree ) it is hypersensitive, with both bite detection and hookups being virtually instantaneous. Though some colours tend to bleed or rub off in use, that does not seem to have any effect on the line’s quality, as this stuff does not seem to deteriorate from one season to another. Also, as this line has…
Works on Alaskan sized fish… I have been using PowerPro on my ocean going boat for about 5 years now (I think?), and I will not use anything else. I have 30# PowerPro for my salmon trolling gear, and 80# for my halibut line. It works GREAT. I’ve caught up to 70# King Salmon on the ocean with the 30# line and never had an issue. I’ve caught a halibut that was guesstimated at over 300# with the 80# line! Granted, we never got that big halibut to the boat… BECAUSE THE HOOK BROKE before the line did. After 2.5 hours of…
Great Fishing Line This line is great in that it does not take a set from being on the reel. It allows for longer casts and is easy to load on the reel. I have never had a problem attaching spinners or other lures. I do carry a small cigarett lighter to melt the end to prevent any slipping of the knot but so far no problem. Give this a line a try and I am sure you will like it.
