better as a roadside emergency beacon This light lasted less than 5 hours. Do not use where tidal currents or fast moving water is present; light will not sink and takes away your night vision. I could not in good conscious return it for a refund since I tied my dinghy anchor to it to try to force it to sink. (The tidal current is very fast at my boat slip).
