Would have lost this cat without the alarm. Works great caught a 13 lb channel cat the first time I used it. I think it would have broke me off in the trees if not for the alarm. As I was sleeping when it went off.

It worked great when I did some night fishing The product did as it claimed. When a fish did bite the alarm went off. It worked great when I did some night fishing. I did not have to stare at the rods. If I was doing something or lost in thought and a fish bit, the alarm notified me. It is well worth the price. The bad part is with a narrow rod the alarm would slip some. When casting the line can wrap around then alarm. It is best to take the alarm off when casting.
