Great Product This is the second Fish Grip I have owned and I love it. I used to carry a Berkley gripper and it was bulky and heavy due to being made out of metal. It would also get sand in it, meaning it would need to be washed after every use or it would become difficult to use. This plastic grip is very light to wear on your wading belt, doesn’t need to be washed, holds the fish great and makes releasing them easy as can be. If you don’t need a scale incorporated into your gripper, this is a great one…
They are Ok for back up These grips are well made and a lot cheaper then my Boga Grip plus they float. Have boated a couple 10 lb + cats with them and they held up well to the twisting and shaking. In addition, they locked on to the jaw strongly holding the cats while being weighed. That being said, found them combersome to use. If missed hooking up to the lower jaw had to reopen the grip changing the hand hold on the griper opening it up again then having to regrip it. Not too bad if you only miss once. More…
