  1. I expected a bit more from a book called “TOTAL FISHING MANUAL” It covers alot of areas of fishing, but after reading the book I don’t feel as if I’ve learned anything new. I wish there was more to do on rigging and when to use a lure where or tips on selecting color or pairing poles with line and lures or expand on the effects of seasons on fish. Some good things were touched on but nothing is done with any depth. It’s laid out like a bunch of fisherman wrote a sentence long tip on a sticky note and gathered all the sticky notes and created a book. I…

  3. Good Tips, Missing What I Was Looking/Hoping For…. Nice book, quality pages and cover. Nice pictures and descriptions. Good tips, learned quite a bit. However, I was hoping for more saltwater flats tips/hints, but the focus of the book appears to be on freshwater fishing and fly fishing. There is info on saltwater in the book, but I’d say it’s 60-30-10 in terms of content. 60% is all fishing applicable, 30% is freshwater applicable, and 10% is saltwater. Only two saltwater fish it specifically addresses is Red Drum and Striped Bass. I’d buy as…
