Great Plier !! I have been using them for few weeks now and it works really well. I love the fact that it fits really good in your hand and yet, very lightweight. I wish I had gotten this sooner. By using this plier, unhooking went very smooth and ease. Nipper blade is also very sharp and cuts heavy lines very well. I am very pleased with this plier and would highly recommend it.

Kept my hands out of harm’s way. I waited for this review until I could actually use the pliers. They felt great in my hands and worked smothly thru on my trip to Seadrift, TX for the removal of hooks from the 26″ red, the 16″ trout, plus others including sheepheads, and the flounder that swallowed the hook to the back of his throat. The ring splitter tip worked great to pry open the flounder’s mouth. As with any tool used in slatwater, take care of them by rinsing in fresh water and drying, the lifetime warranty…
