I love the fact it can be placed in your carry-on suitcase. I originally gave it only 3 stars because the reel seat is looked too short for my saltwater spinning reels’ foot. The seat opens to 2.3 inches, but larger reels can be accommodated by unscrewing the foam covered end tube and sliding rearward, Un-threading the seat jam nut & capture nut, inserting reel and reversing process. I plan on ordering some of the shorter rods for fresh water…
This fishing pole looks really good. It is by no means robust This fishing pole looks really good. It is by no means robust. After 15 casts it broke right above the reel making it impossible to cast. When I went to fold it up the eyelets came unglued and the base also came off. This product is so poorly constructed the people assembling it should be embarrassed. Junk. Good only for display purpose. Don’t waste your time or money on this rod.
