Nah it’s just for looks reel is garbage Sucks!!!!!! The reel is garbage it’s frozen all right. Lol. The rods cute my one year old likes playing with it. It could fish if the dang reel worked! I took it apart and worked on it , it work for a few mins and crapped out again. Oh well
Missing pieces I received 2 of these. One was missing the fish and packaging. It looks used. The line had already been pulled and it had scratches and gunk on it…
Excellent product. After seeing the commenter that said that they doubt this item could reel in a fish, I had to comment. We live in Minnesota, Land of 10,000 lakes, where everyone goes fishing. On a recent trip to a fishing resort “Up North,” my five year old and her six year old brother reeled in a 16 pound large mouth bass with this thing. The grownups had to help them reel it in, of course, but the rod did not break. Excellent product.
