2. Reverse the Batteries
3. Put the Iron Wire on the battery
4. twist on the Lid tightly, when the iron wire contact with the anode of the battery, the light will turn on directly
5.Clip it on the rod tips.

Cheap and effective!! the product came with no damage… 100% of the lights worked… I had to place pieces of paper on the bottom of some the cap to make some of the lights to come on… So am I upset about it?

You get what you pay for Cheaply made product, but for such a great price low quality was expected. The clamp works better on a larger diameter rod tip section. I tried them first on long lite action “crappie trolling” rods while night fishing and they moved around a lot on the thin diameter limber rods. These would work better on thicker “catfish” rods. Overall not bad. Great price and very fast shipping!!
