Why Drill Holes in Your Boat, Easy to Attach and Remove! I have a “classic” lake bot and I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. (My boat is a 1955 12′ Larson with nice oak rails.) Because it’s a classic boat I’ve been hesitant to drill holes for rod holders.
I love that the clamp part is aluminum and not plastic I mounted onto my Hobie kayak. It’s completely adjustable except for the clamp which doesn’t give you a lot of clearance, so i can’t put it anywhere on my kayak. It’s limited to the smaller areas. It fits both my spinning and bait cast reels. The material is very durable and i know it will last a long time. I love that the clamp part is aluminum and not plastic. I received this item on time and it was packaged great.
Awesome product for someone with kids! My family of 5 is actively involved in all outdoor sports. We especially love to fish. Last year we bought our first boat and got some good use out of it. Being that my children are a little younger, it was quite a challenge at times to help the kids and try to set our own pole down somewhere. My husband and I had talked about creating some kind of holder, but nothing we tried seemed to attach securely and hold the weight of our poles.
