Great bag for fly fishing! I use this for fly fishing and it works out very well. It’s not waterproof, but it dries out quickly if it gets wet. It has plenty of pockets to hold my fly boxes and a drink holder for a bottle of water. All the pockets and pouches zip or snap shut, so if you were to take an accidental swim everything should be ok.
