It’s not waterproof…… Wrong advertisement….. I purchased this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I received this item in an very small package. Opened it and found a waterproof dry bag made out of a ripstop type material. Assumed that it could not be waterproof, but with technology these days, I can be a believer. Debating on writing my first review a few days ago, something told me to wait. Having a glass of wine, I was reading the box and in a very small letters, it states, warning…. not to be…
keeps belongings bone dry even after 24 hours in water Water proof lightweight and easily transportable can store in coat pocket or in car for getting stuff from car to buildings dry and safe. Water tested over night and kept even tissues bone dry. This is ultra thin material so no good for commercial work or rugged outdoors but good extra level of protection inside a sturdier bag.
A weatherproof bag that’s actually waterproof! Like others have said, its thin but that’s okay I dont plan on dragging this behind my truck. Seeing as I received this at a discount in exchange for my honest review I decided to test it out before my intend purpose. I put a fee large cans and a roll of paper towels inside. The idea of the cans was to get this thing to sink but the air inside proved to be more buoyant than the cans. The paper towels would be a good judge of its water tightness as any water would be obvious on the roll.
