The trolling motor power center is ideal for small boats without a battery compartment. It has easy to access external battery terminals that allow trolling motor leads and charger leads to be connected without opening the box. Built-in battery meter displays current “state of charge”‘ It also features 2 manual reset circuit breakers: 15 amp for accessory plugs and 60 amp for trolling motor.Ideal for small-boat transom applications (i.e., boats that don’t have battery compartments), the Minn Kota Motor Power Center stores your battery securely and out of the way while you boat. The Motor Power Center features easy-access external battery terminals that allow you to connect trolling motor leads and charger leads without opening the box. The built-in battery meter, meanwhile, displays the current “state of charge.” Designed to fit group 24- and 27-size batteries, the Motor Power Center offers two 12-volt accessory plugs and two manual reset circuit breakers: a 15 amp breaker for accessory plugs and a 60 amp breaker for the trolling motor.

  1. Trolling Motor Power Center I’m very pleased with this box. It’s not weak or flimsy and has molded in lift handles on each end. Its inside dimensions are 13″L X 7″W X 9″H. The vented cover has access for cables on either end and has a pretty sturdy handle attached that will tip down and lay flat and includes a steel backing plate inside for reinforcement and strength.   2. Great battery holder for boats without built in battery tray Purchased this battery holder for my 14′ Jon boat. I have a 55 MinnKota trolling motor and a fish finder which hook up easily with this holder. You get every thing you need with 2 circuit breakers one for your trolling motor and one for accessories that plug into the 2 cigarette lighter plugs. I had to make a power cable for my portable fish finder, so it could be plugged in. Test button on top tells you how much charge you have left in your battery.   3. Very useful I use this to store a spare auto battery in my car’s trunk. FYI – there are two circuit breakers, one 10 amp for the two cigarette lighter sockets and one 60 amp for the screw terminals. There’s also a voltage monitor – press the yellow “test” button and you get a 4 LED readout of the battery voltage:
