Beautiful design and efficiency. As an life-long avid angler, I am always looking for fishing opportunities, especially during my business travels. Toting along 6-8 ft long fishing rods is cumbersome at best, except when it is on a planned fishing trip. I tried taking the “Pocket fisherman” along once, but I ended up being frustrated and feeling somewhat silly at my futile attempts at landing any fish.
a $20 experiment that failed The pictures of this fishing rod are very misleading. There are only 3 guide rings on the 1.8m length rod. The diameter of the handle is very small (.5″) and very slippery. I would just as soon mail this back to Amazon. I didn’t pay all that much for this rod, but it is still a waste of money. Save your $20 to invest in a fishing rod that is a little more serious. I didn’t expect much – didn’t get much.

They keep busy at home practicing casting and at local lakes catching small fish. The fishing poles and reels are great quality and expect that we’ll have many years with them.
