Work Great for fishing Catfish! I live on a lake that has catfish. These alarms work great when a catfish bites. Very easy to remove line from alarm when reeling in fish or reeling in nothing. Easy to flip up out of the way or just remove from rod. Not for using for fish that bight light…Anyone that fishes catfish should have one or more of these.bite alarms.

eeeh. I’m only out $12.00 Very avid fisherman who often has 3-4 poles deployed in a boat. I picked up two of these just for the heck of it. Out of the box they’re neat, simple design and look easy to use BUT, they’re SO sensitive I’m highly scheptical that they’ll work in my waters. We had a current and tide that flows as it may and I believe these will just ring off the hook with the slight movement of the current. I’ll change my review if they are great in the water but on my pole in the yard… a 1/2 lead weight…
