Good rigid flex for casting a 3 to 4 oz weight on 15 lb. test line up to 60-70 yards or so and when you hook up it has a more solid feel than Shakespeare’s Ugly Stick. In other words, you don’t feel the stress on your wrist when fighting the fish but rather the stress seems to be concentrated about a foot above the reel seat.
