Excellent deal for a great rod I bought this rod with little expectation but I was shocked by the level of quality. The rod came with no scratches on it at all, feels solid with good action.I caught a 15lb+ catfish on it and the rod had excellent action for the whole duration of 5 minutes of fight (I was using a 8lb test fluorocarbon leader so didn’t want to risk snapping it).For the price of the rod, it is well worth of money. I highly recommend it.
Great Price. Great Price…well built and looks nive. I got this as a guest rod for my boat. It is not at all stiff at the tip, so if you want something to do serious bass fishing with, I would recommend that you spend some more money and get a stiffer rod. I think that it will suit my purpose well as a guest rod with a KastKing 5000 spinning reel and 30# braid mounted.
Works as Advertised Works as Advertised. matched the rods up with a Shakespeare spinning reel. I caught a 23 in Spanish mackerel on the rod off of a fishing peer. It handled the job nicely.
