JUNK JUNK JUNK!! Broken/Bent rod guides!!! Broken junk. Three rod guides were bent, which I fixed by bending them back and adding epoxy. After adding my new BPS Pro Qualifier reel and spooling it with 30lb braid, I couldn’t figure out why it was reeling so rough. After spending the whole night disassembling and lubing my reel, I finally noticed that the smooth insert in the top rod guide is completely missing. Now I will have to head to the store tomorrow to buy a new rod, since this one is basically useless. Makes no sense to send it…
perfect great but one eye was alittle bent but other than that it is the best rod i have.
