Okuma Celilo Graphite Lightweight Ultra Light Trout Rods, CE-S-662UL-1

The fisheries of the Northeast and Northwest have been in turmout to say the least. However the future looks bright. The lake trout have come back strong in the last few years and the Northwest rivers are seeing the strongest runs of salmon and steelhead in recent history. With input from some of the top fishermen on these waters we developed the Celilo series. Throwing modesty out the window we nailed these actions and developed the perfect salmon, trout and bottom bouncing graphite rods. Although beautiful, you don’t have to take out that second mortgage to load the boat with them.

  1. the best fishing pole for the price this pole out preforms all others in its class. you can feel what the lure is doing its intense . i fish 2 times a week and have a lot of high priced rods but love this rod the best .

  2. A Great Twenty-Something Dollar Rod I do a lot of backcountry fishing in the Sierra Nevadas. I have broken many a rods while ducking under a fallen tree or low hanging branch, or while dropping a pack. I am reticent to spend too much on a rod. This one has performed admirably over the last summer. Using 2 lb. test and a moderately broad range of trout sized lures, it has casted very well. The action is very nice for setting the hook. Moreover, the real cork has a great feel.

  3. Okuma Celilo 6-6 Ultralight This rod rocks. The construction is very professional, beautiful finish/ color, nice cork handle. I found the guides to be in perfect line. This thing was a blast in the Eastern Sierras and performs great for our bass/ bluegill down here in SoCal, especially repeated casting of spinners. The rod is light and sensitive, pair it with an ultralight reel like the Okuma Avenger (size 15) and you will be in business. Highly Recommended, I would gladly buy again.
