Good value – larger diameter than the description says – nearly 3″” across! Good quality – not quite as tight a weave as the “StickJackets” brand and the finishing on the tip is just a simple roll crimp with adhesive shrink wrap, but for 25% less, its a good value. The one thing to note is that the larger “spincasting” size is much bigger than they list – the diameter is closer to 3″ so it is PLENTY big for all my rods. Excellent quality sock- will cover large spinning guides. Excellent quality. Covered the guides of my custom 8′ tuna popping (spinning) rod perfectly. The largest guide is a 30 mm diameter Fuji KR frame which sits very high off the blank- the sock has enough diameter to easily cover the guide. I am very pleased and will order more.
