Best rod ,,,, Period Bought the spin 10 footer for FL surf fishing, PERFECT size and throws up to 6 oz of lead. (face it, if 6 oz, wont keep your bait down, should you even be out ?), Any longer and reel is seated too high for comfort, Have landed sharks and large jacks with no problem, Reel is a Okuma Avenger ABF 50 Baitrunner with 30# braid, A 4 oz wt seems perfect, While these are not inexpensive, they are less than most decent rods and tough as nails,Most importantly I doubt I could find a rod I liked better at…
