Good enough for the price In my opinion, a product must be reviewed within some defined guidelines. It is simply unfair for a producer, if its general-use product is being compared unfavorably against a professional-grade product. This is especially critical when there is a huge difference in the pricing of the two products.
Not worth the price paid It is difficult to rate a product this inexpensive too poorly, but I am not a fan of this pair of pliers. Upon receipt, the tips were severely misaligned. I loosened the screw and tried to adjust, but that put a lot of play into pliers and I eventually tried to bend one of the pieces so it closed semi-aligned with the screw tight. They are lightweight and do not inspire confidence.
Ok for fishing This is a good basic set of pliers for fishing. The unit comes with carrying sheath. There is a lock to keep pliers closed when not in use. They have been good so far but seem a little flimsy. These I think will work ok for fishing, but anything more and they may break easily. I would recommend maybe the L1 instead with multi tools and better quality.
